Oto’s journal

December 5, 2009.

It’s Saturday at last! It’s college day, so I had to wake up early, very early. I was very sleepy at college because of that.

After college, I went to a grocery store to buy some fruit: bananas, oranges, and two melons. My parents phoned me in the afternoon. They still don’t know when they will be able to come to Conquista.

Next week is my last week at Wizard. It’s been really nice working there. I’m already missing all of my students.

I hope tomorrow I’m not getting up so early as I did this morning. Unfortunately, I have lots of errands at home, so I wont’ be able to go to church tomorrow morning.

December 1, 2009. Tuesday.

Today I didn’t have to get up very early, which is a good thing. I only had English tutoring at 10 o’clock. I had lunch with my aunt at her house. After that, I went back home to teach English to another private student. I went to Wizard at 5 p.m. to give English classes to book 1 and 2 students. Today’s my last class with book 1 students. It was very sad to see them for the last time, but at the same time I was very proud of them. They really know how to speak basic English, and that’s a good think to talk about.

Fernando’s diary

Here’s my diary:

November 30, 2009.

It’s Monday. Yesterday I went to the movies to see “2012″ with my girlfriend. “2012″ is not a type-A movie, but it has some impressive action scenes, in my opinion. This morning I had a Math exam at school. I found it very easy for a final exam. I hope next Friday’s Composition exam will be the same. My mom made a delicious chocolate cake this afternoon. I was so hungry that I almost ate all of it. I’m very tired now. I think I’m going to bed very early today. Tomorrow I don’t have to go to school, thank God. I can’t wait to be on vacation! I hope we are going to a beach or something. On my last vacation, I didn’t travel at all.

November 28, 2009, Saturday.

Today I got up not so early because I don’t have classes at school. But I still have to study at home. I have a Chemistry exam at school next Tuesday. That’s why I didn’t have English class with Oto yesterday. Not having English class is very sad because I love English.

I hope my mother let me go out with my friends this afternoon. I am only studying, studying, studying… I am so tired of studying. I can’t wait for my vacation!

Tomorrow I want to go church with my family and then I want to sleep all afternoon.

I didn’t have to get up early today because I’m on vacation at school. I took a shower, had breakfast, and went to the park with my dog this morning. I have to go to the dentist in the afternoon. I hate going to dentists! In the evening, I want to go to my friend’s house to play video game with him.

Wednesday, November 25.

I had to get up very early today (6:30!) because I had a private class at eight thirty a.m. I hate getting up so early. Yesterday I had classes at Wizard in the evening. Mona Lisa, one of my students, showed up after missing lots of classes. She told she was sick. Anyway, I was very happy to see her back to school. Monica, another student, didn’t go to class because her grandmother passed away two days ago. I hope she is doing well after all. Monica: my heart goes to you and your family in this very sad moment. I can’t wait to see you again at Wizard.
